Directions for Tear Repairs
Above and Slightly Below Waterline Repairs:
- Ensure all surfaces are clean.
- Cut the patch with rounded corners.
- For inflatables and light gauge vinyls, apply adhesive sparingly to the patch.
- Press the patch tightly onto the surface to be repaired.
- Allow 24 hours for the adhesive to dry.
- Always use a face mask and underwater goggles when making repairs underwater.
Deep Water Repairs:
- Cut the patch with rounded corners.
- Apply adhesive to the patch and fold it over on itself.
- When you reach the damaged area underwater, unfold the patch and apply it immediately to the liner.
- Squeeze out all water bubbles.
- Do not disturb the patch for at least 24 hours.
