Product Description
This product raises the total alkalinity level in swimming pool water. Proper total alkalinity is a critical component of water balance. Low total alkalinity can cause pH levels to fluctuate. Excessively high total alkalinity can cause pH to resist adjustment, cloudy water and possible scale. For best results maintain 80 to 120 ppm total alkalinity.

BEFORE ADDING THIS PRODUCT TO THE POOL OR SPA:
1. Measure total alkalinity with a test kit or
strip.
2. If total alkalinity is below 80 ppm, add this
product using the dosage chart below.

HOW TO ADD THIS PRODUCT TO POOL:
1. Keep the circulation pump running. Add this product directly into skimmer. Run circulation pump for at least 24 hours. Do not mix chemicals directly in skimmer.
2. Retest the total alkalinity level after 4 hours.
3. Repeat treatment as needed until alkalinity is in the acceptable range of 80 to 120 ppm.
HOW TO ADD THIS PRODUCT TO SPA:
1. Broadcast over entire spa surface while the water is circulating.
2. Add ½ ounce (1 tablespoon) for every 200 gallons of water to increase total alkalinity 10 ppm. Spa may be used immediately after application.
3. Wait one hour and retest total alkalinity.
Repeat treatment as needed until total alkalinity is in the proper range of 80 to 120 ppm.
