Directions

Pool Use:

  • Shock treatment: Add 2 oz per 1,000 gallons of pool water.
  • Swimmers should not enter until chlorine levels fall to 1.0–2.0 ppm.
  • Reentry is prohibited above 3.0 ppm chlorine.
  • Shock treatments may be reduced during cooler weather.

Spa & Hot Tub:

  • Startup: Add 1 oz per 500 gallons to establish chlorine residual of 1.0–2.0 ppm.
  • Daily: Add ¼ to ⅛ oz per 500 gallons to maintain 1.0–2.0 ppm.
  • Weekly shock: Add 1 oz per 500 gallons.
  • Maintain pH between 7.2 and 7.6.
  • Do not use if chlorine exceeds 3.0 ppm.
  • Spa water should be replaced every 60 days

Dosage

 Pool:
 Start-up: 2 oz per 1,000 gallons
 Daily Maintenance: ¼–½ oz per 1,000 gallons
 Shock: 2 oz per 1,000 gallons weekly or after rain

Spa:
 Start-up: 1 oz per 500 gallons
 Maintenance: ⅛–¼ oz per 500 gallons daily
 Shock: 1 oz per 500 gallons weekly
