Pool Construction Crew Member

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: *(This description is a general statement of required major duties and responsibilities performed on a regular and continual basis. It does not exclude other duties that may be assigned.)

• Load and unload materials at shop and job sites.
• Deliver materials to/from job sites
• Regularly ensures that product loads are properly handled to minimize damage to products
• Good with hand tools; ability to life and do physical labor on a regular basis.
• Will also be working on repairs as needed.
• Must have previous swimming pool construction experience.
• May be assigned facilities maintenance duties as needed.
• May participate in different phases, as needed, in the pool building, and/or renovation process.

Education and Experience:

• Formal education not required.
• Pool Set-up experience required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Employee must successfully complete the forklift certification program to be eligible to operate the forklift. This consists of a driving evaluation, as well as a written test. This training will be offered on the job.
• Ability to troubleshoot processes and equipment within the assigned departments. This may require the help of maintenance.
• Ability to effectively communicate mechanical issues to the maintenance personnel.
• Ability to effectively communicate the quality issues to all personnel within warehouse facility.
• Basic reading and writing skills are necessary.
• Basic math skills are necessary.
• Basic computer skills are necessary.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Ability to work overtime. Overtime is required when necessary. Overtime is dependent upon production demands. The starting time or ending time of the shift as well as days of the week working may vary depending upon overtime requirements.
• Must be able to work in a range of temperatures from -10 to 90+, as well as dust and/or dirt and inclement weather.
• Must have previous swimming pool construction experience.
• Must possess and ‘ownership mentality’ of responsibility and pride in your work.
