Winston

Started in 1975, Winston furniture is proudly made in the U.S.A. in a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Haleyville, Alabama.

In the beginning, Winston manufactured simple aluminum furniture with virgin vinyl straps. As the popularity of casual furniture increased, different styles and materials were introduced. Consumers craved comfort, and Winston answered the call by being the first company to introduce cushioned fabrics for outdoor use. These fabrics contained special mildew resistant yarns with ultraviolet stabilizers that withstood the tortures of weather.

In 1982, another milestone was passed in the casual furniture industry, and Winston was at the forefront of this new revolution - sling furniture. Simply put, sling furniture takes a specially produced fabric that is pulled taut through a channel attached to the furniture frame. The result is a sleek, firm yet remarkably comfortable piece of furniture that is easy to clean and maintain.

Today, the Winston Furniture line is comprised of cushion and sling furniture with a host of styles. A variety of powder coated paint finishes and sling colors, along with over 142 fabric selections allow you to create just the look you need.

Awards

Winston Furniture Company, Inc. has earned several design and service awards from retailers over the past 25 years. The most notable of these honors is the National Association of Casual Furniture Retailers' (NACFR) Casual Furniture Manufacturer Leadership Award. Since the award's inception in 1990, Winston is a four-time recipient as well as a finalist every year. Voted on by casual furniture retailers across the nation, some of the criteria considered for this award include quality, furniture design, customer service and business ethics.

15-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY

I. FROM WINSTON TO YOU: This 15-year limited warranty is extended by Winston to the original purchaser and applies to all furniture products manufactured by Winston in Haleyville, AL maintained with usual care in ordinary home use.

II. WHAT WE WILL DO: If your Winston aluminum furniture frame fails structurally within 15 years of original purchase (i.e., broken frame or welds), we will replace, repair or refinish the frame in the original color and style, if available, or in a similar color and style if the original has been discontinued.

If a strap breaks within five years from date of purchase, a replacement strap will be sent directly to you, upon receipt of the broken strap, in the original color and style, if available, or in a similar color and style if the original has been discontinued.

If the paint finish blisters or peels within 5 years of the date of purchase, Winston will repair or refinish the frame in the original color and style, if available, or in a similar color and style if the original has been discontinued.

For a period of 2 years from original purchase, Winston will replace or repair purchased component parts (i.e., cushions, slings, umbrellas, glides, teak arms, etc.) from failure due to manufacturing defects.

All service for authorized returns will be provided at our main manufacturing facility in Haleyville, AL. Freight charges will be paid by Winston for three years from purchase (for frames) to and from the dealer for frames and two years for fabrics (proof of purchase is required). Customer will
be responsible for freight charges after the three year period. Winston reserves the right to determine whether to replace, repair or refinish and mode of transportation of authorized returns. No returns will be accepted without a return authorization from Winston.

III. HOW TO OBTAIN SERVICE: Should you encounter a problem and need further information, contact the dealer from which the product was purchased or your nearest authorized Winston Furniture retailer. The original, dated proof of purchase must be presented for all warranty claims. A photograph may be necessary.

IV. LIMITATIONS: The warranty does not cover and is void if the failure of your furniture is caused by fire, freight damage, acts of nature (such as, but not limited to, freezing, high winds), commercial use, suntan oil or other chemicals, or by unreasonable or abusive use or by normal wear and tear, mildew, or fading of fabric, paint or strap.

Winston shall not be responsible for loss of use, time, inconvenience, packaging, travel, etc., or other consequential or incidental damages. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which may vary from state to state.
